Voice-over rates

How is a voice-over rate calculated ?

The rates below follow the industry standard structure  : a flat-rate studio fee that covers production, and broadcast rights that cover commercial use. Prices are transparent and listed without any hidden fees. For an exact quote for your project, use the rate simulator.

Basic Studio Fee

BSF or layout fee, covers production costs : script preparation, voice recording, post-production, and delivery.

This is the fixed portion of the fee—it varies depending on the type of service and duration.

Buyout

cover the commercial use of the voice : channel, territory, and duration of use.

This is the variable portion—often the most significant component of an advertising campaign. It is low or nonexistent for internal use.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get a fixed quote before the script is finalised  ?
Yes. An estimated word count and the intended usage are enough to provide a solid internal quote. The final fee is confirmed once the script is approved.

Are usage rights negotiable  ?
The rights structure follows professional standards. The rates shown here are reference figures, not arbitrary minimums. For recurring projects or agency work with volume, there is room for discussion. For one-off projects, the buyout reflects the actual value of the intended use.

What happens when the one-year buyout expires  ?
Renewal is generally calculated on a reduced annual basis, depending on the territories and channels that remain covered. It should be renewed before expiry to avoid any interruption in use. A reminder can be arranged at the time of booking if needed.
