The studio
For uncompromising recording, I use a professional vocal booth (a box within a box), with a 50 db noise reduction, designed and measured by renowned acousticians.
The sound recording equipment :
- Microphones: Neumann U87, Brauner VM1, Schoeps MK4 and Electro-Voice RE27, all true professional studio standards
- Pre-amps: Fearn VT2, Summit Audio
- Sound card: RME Fireface UC 192 kHz 24 bit
- Monitors: Genelec 1030
- iMac pro with Pro-tools, Twistedwave, VST Waves and Izotope plug-ins
And don't forget the communication tools : Source-Connect, SessionLinkPRO, Zoom, Teams, Skype... to duplex recordings with any studio and let you run the session with full creative control.
BIO
Who am I?
"The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. "Three apples high, I am shaped by my dad, an electronics technician, and I have a passion for music, high fidelity, and all those old-fashioned devices adorned with huge incandescent lamps and big metal buttons.
At the end of the 80's, my adolescence plunged me more into this universe with the sound system and especially the radio called "free" at the time: Radio Contact, RFM, Chérie FM...
In 1991 I started training in audio production in the digital studio of RMB (the Belgian Media Agency) and it was when I met this true pioneer of digital studios that a new voice opened up... A year later, while working at RTBF (Belgian public radio and television), I combined the job of radio presenter with that of voice-over actor.
For more than 30 years, the passion has remained intact and has extended to the whole audiovisual field, with commercials, documentaries, tutorials, or even jingles, liners, and dubbing.
